We are seeking the right individual to add to our team in the position of Assistant Project Manager or entry level Project Manager. The position will assist Rohde Senior Project Managers and, in so doing, develop the skills to independently run projects. With the proper training and initiative, the successful candidate will become an integral part of our project management team.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related construction field.
Experience in the construction industry
Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations regarding construction
Ability to read plans and specifications
Strong interpersonal communication skills including ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, clients, A/E staff, building officials and subcontractors
Advanced means and methods knowledge
Assist project management staff with front end work scopes, schedules and VE analysis
Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, Outlook, Etc.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills
A professional demeanor
Well-organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented
Strong work ethic
Attitude and aptitude to learn new skills and perform new responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Manage all areas of an assigned project including, but not limited to, the following: monitoring the drawing process, reviewing the bids, creating budgets and scopes of work, negotiating subcontracts, managing change orders, project planning and scheduling.
Assist team during the bidding process with subcontractor engagement and communication
Coordinate and manage RFI and submittal process
Review of subcontract proposals for completeness and adherence to project requirements.
Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory requirements
Control job costs to maintain budget
Manage subcontractors
Manage schedule and activities for construction
Assist with construction close out process to meet project timeline
Foster good relationships with the team - Client, A/E firm, subcontractors, suppliers and coworkers
Assist Project Management Team as directed - including as directed with listed responsibilities
