Laborer / Driver

Penn Township Road Department Position Penn Township Road Department is accepting applications for a full-time laborer/driver.

The qualified candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications: Clean Class B PA license, 3 or more years of experience operating construction equipment and driving truck; available for 24 hour – 7 days a week on call duty; be willing to work overtime; be willing and capable of working with the public; general computer skills; the ability to lift up to 75 pounds without restriction; leadership skills; be self-motivated; and able to work well with others. The position will entail plowing snow, operating large equipment, local truck driving, road side mowing, road repair, earthmoving, building and equipment maintenance.

Pre-employment alcohol/drug testing and criminal background check is mandatory. Probationary period is (90) days.
