Pacific West Builders has immediate openings for Project Managers. Pacific West Builders is a small business, design-build contractor specializing in Department of Defense construction contracts throughout the Southwestern Region of the United States, but primarily in Southern California. ? Preferred Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, construction management, or an engineering degree in a construction related field. ? A minimum of 10 years construction project management experience, specifically on Department of Defense construction projects with a minimum value of $3 million or greater. ? Proven familiarity and track record for Design-Build project delivery method. ? Willingness to travel within the continental United States.
Project Manager Responsibilities include, but are not be limited to: ? Planning, Scheduling and Supervising a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. ? Project Schedule Development and Management. ? Project Budget Development and Management. ? Procure needed project resources (manpower, equipment, materials, subcontracts) ? Collaboration with Design Professionals including schedule and project design scope. ? Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues. ? Oversight and supervision of superintendents, quality control managers, site safety & health officers, Project Engineers and Project Administrators If selected for this position, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and have primary responsibility for successful completion of the construction project, to be defined as highly safe projects, meeting or exceeding the quality standards specified, on time, at or below budget and generating a customer satisfaction level of Outstanding.
