Water Treatment/Distribution Manager
Full time Exempt position with excellent benefits. $75,286/$36.19 hour - $108,223/$52.03/hour depending on experience. Valid Colorado driver’s license, with a Class “B” CDL license required within 6 months of employment. Minimum of five years water experience and/or education required. Previous experience working in a certified lab testing for total coliform. A bachelor’s degree in science or related field acceptable to CDPHE to be designated as the city’s “Qualified Lab Manager” for total coliform analysis certification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises the operation, security, repair, and maintenance of the Water Treatment Plant, pump stations, potable water storage tanks, Elk head Dam operations, and the Lab. Must be aware and maintain compliance with all state and federal water quality regulations & standards as required by law. Must be aware of and maintain all records and reports required by law. Assist in distribution system construction, identifies, and directs repair and maintenance. Performs checks and analyzes all lab tests for accuracy. Performs various administrative duties as it relates to customer service, budgets, personnel, water treatment and the distribution system. All other duties as requested and assigned.
