Utility Worker

The city of Alma is currently seeking a

Full Time Utility Worker.

Under the general supervision of the Public Works Superintendent

DUTIES: ~Operates light and heavy equipment ~Provide General and Skilled Labor in support of a wide range of maintenance and repair projects including city streets, sewers, facilities and related work

EXPERIENCE: ~One or more years of experience as a semi skilled laborer in public work, utilities, general maintenance, or related field requires ~State of MI Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred. ~Ability to obtain CDL & proper endorsement within first 6 months req’d ~Satisfactory driving record.

Salary range is $19.46 - $25.30 per hour The City offers a competitive benefits package.
