The Borough of Hamburg, Berks County, PA is currently hiring a full time, hourly Water Treatment Plant Operator. This position is responsible for the operation of the Hamburg Water System. This is a skilled position and the individual assigned to this position is to fulfill assignments made by the Water Supervisor to the best of the individual’s ability and in the best interest of the Hamburg Municipal Authority. Applicants should have (1) a high school diploma or GED, (2) Water B License, subclasses 1, 7, 8 & 12, (3) experience with PA DEP reporting forms preferred (4) a valid PA driver’s license, and (5) the ability to be on call 24/7, 365 days a year.
