Residential and Commercial Glass Shop in Search of Lead Glass Installer

Job Description:

Lead in the fabrication and installation of glass products including windows and doors in commercial buildings, glass shower enclosures and mirrors.

An Experienced Glass Installer will be expected to:

• Cut, fabricate and install mirrors and plate glass
• Cut, fabricate and install aluminum commercial storefront windows and entrances
• Accurately field measure mirrors and shower doors
• Accurately field measure aluminum commercial storefront windows and entrances
• Communicate with job superintendants, supervisor and team members
• Lift plate glass units in excess of 75 lbs
• Handle power hand tools including chop saws and drills
• Exhibit workmanship
• Have a clean driving record

Any applicant with 1-3 years experience in the glass industry will excel in this position.  An applicant should expect to provide many of the trade tools for this position but certain tools will be provided by Acme Door and Mirror Co.
